His translations include François-René de Chateaubriand's Memoirs from Beyond the Grave, 1768–1800 (NYRB Classics), Roberto Bazlen's Notes Without a Text (Dalkey Archive Press), and Paul Lafargue's The Right to Be Lazy and Other Writings (forthcoming from NYRB Classics).
He has edited several special issues of The Review of Contemporary Fiction, including numbers dedicated to the work of Roberto Calasso, Kathryn Davis, and Markus Werner; Best European Fiction 2018–2019 (Dalkey Archive Press); and The Uncollected Essays of Elizabeth Hardwick (forthcoming from NYRB Classics).
